| Founded in 2001 by Jerome Armstrong, MyDD's influence in the lefty blogosphere stretches beyond its traffic ranking with a laser-like focus on getting Dems elected throughout the country. Armstrong has since moved on to political consulting (though he still posts occasionally) and the site's main contributors are currently Chris Bowers, Matt Stoller, and Jonathan Singer.
